This is my second official session in Austin, though once again I just happened to meet up with old clients in my new city. :)  Mr. Jackson celebrated his third birthday over the summer and he was so so great during our session!!  Thanks so much, Hare Family, for having me document your sweet family this fall!

This is the second opportunity I've had to photograph this family and I so enjoy our time together!  First of all, their little boy is adorable - as shown in the photos - and these guys just love each other and their family.  It's so great to visit with them!

This sweet family was on vacation and met me in Austin for our session this year.  We made the climb up to Mount Bonnell and I'm so glad we did.  Thanks so much Clayton & Carrie, for choosing me to document your awesome family again this year!!

ivy is six!

And actually, she turned six a while back before summer was under way.  As always, Ivy was so fantastically behaved (and styled!) during our session. She is such a good kid, truly, I always love my time with her!

Thanks again Krystal, for choosing me to document another year for your sweet girl.  I hope year six is the best yet!

nova at one month new

I've been photographing this sweet family for several years now and am so glad to count this fabulous mom as a friend!  I met sweet Nova when she was just a couple of weeks old but she was actually around five weeks old at our session.

Goodness, TWO big brothers!  And they always make me smile, they really are so cute.

Congratulations friends, I know Miss Nova is a blessing to your family!

layla is one!

Goodness gracious, a whole year already?!  It doesn't seem so long ago we were getting together for family photos and before that the maternity and newborn sessions.  Time truly does fly these days!

 

As always, it was so great spending time with the three of y'all.  Layla is a beautiful baby girl and I know she's well loved!

jaxon is two...almost!

It was so nice catching up with Jaxon's mom as we went to school together once upon a time...actually we graduated about a dozen years ago.  As in TWELVE.  But I know Jaxon's sweet parents stay young keeping up with this very active almost two year old!!  He can jump so high and run so fast, after spending an hour with them I feel certain Jaxon is going to grow up to be some kind of super athlete. :)

Oh, but those baby blues.  Gorgeous!  And he's got totally adorable dimples, so cute!!

Thanks so much Betts Family for meeting up with me on a springy afternoon!  I hope Jaxon has a very happy birthday and I'm can't wait to meet his little brother in a few months! :)

one great big happy family

I was so excited when Michelle asked me to photograph her whole family as part of her mom's birthday present.  I'd worked with Michelle's gorgeous daughter late last year and I knew these guys would all be so fun!!  They are truly a family who loves and enjoys each other, seriously the best part of my job is spending time with such great people!

Wowzers, I'm seriously behind on my blog!  I've been traveling so much over the last couple of months and I have several sessions to post so stay tuned this week for lots of new faces (and a few familiar ones too!) as I make my way through sessions dating all the way back to JANUARY.  

I'm starting out the week with one of my favorite families.  Oh, what's that?!  They happen to be my cousins??  Family or not, I'd still count these guys as some of my faves!

elizabeth is one!

This baby girl is so incredibly adorable and was so good during our session.  A huge thanks to her mom and big sister for keeping the smiles coming throughout our time together!!

After a little time at the park we headed downtown for a few photos in a seriously cute (and sassy!) pink outfit.  Julie has great style and did such a fantastic job choosing the wardrobe for Elizabeth's session!
