Day 14 - I'm thankful for answered prayers.  Don't get me wrong, I know there is a plan and purpose to everything God does and sometimes it takes a while for us to figure it out.  But sometimes, sometimes the answer is right in front of us and exactly what we need.  That's been the case a few times over the last few weeks and I'm so incredibly thankful for a God that hears our prayers!!

Now on to the Weldon Family!  I actually met up with this sweet family back in October and it was so great seeing them again.  Such a fun and loving family of four!!

Day two: I'm so thankful for good friends.  I met the momma of this sweet family at a park in early 2011 and we just hit it off.  Not being in school or at work I find it more difficult to get out there and meet true friends, but this one?  She's one of the best.

and baby makes five

This family holds a special place in my heart because well, they're part of my family!  We met early one morning (in July!) to head to Galveston for a sunrise session.  It was a little cloudy but I love their session and we did get some sun in the end!!  It's been fun to share this pregnancy with Melissa and I'm glad she's going through another birth first, ha!  I know my time will come soon enough. :)

How cute are these two?!  Goodness, it doesn't seem so long ago we were all rushing to the hospital for their early birth and now they're FOUR!!  Two sweet siblings and they're excited to meet number three.  

Best wishes on this upcoming birth, Dane & Melissa.  I'm so excited to meet my new nephew!!

I first met part of this great family last May for Lisa & Trey's engagement session.  It has been so fun to get to know them over the last year and celebrate their marriage last December.  We met mid-morning one Saturday and goodness was it getting hot quick!  But cute kids and fun family?! 

Such a great session!! :)  I hope you guys enjoy the rest of the summer!

I wasn't exaggerating when I mentioned not blogging sessions for quite some time.  This is a beautiful family I photographed around Easter, just before their family vacation to Disney!!

I really don't know how to describe how much I loved this session.  I've worked with this family before when I photographed sweet Sunny's six month session.  I was so excited when I was contacted about doing a family session just in time for Sunny's first birthday!  Both grandmothers were in town for the event so of course we got a few photos with them too. :)

 

The kids changed clothes and we took a few more photos but the birthday girl had had enough by that point.  The Hill Family is so fantastic and fun and gorgeous and...I could pretty much go on forever!  I'm so glad I got to document their family this year, they really are a pleasure to be around!  I have to end with this photo of Sunny and her mom because honestly, I just love it. :)
