kaley | a beautiful october bride

I met Kaley for bridals over Labor Day weekend and Internet, if you could have seen the thunder storms!!  It was pouring down rain on my way downtown and then it stopped and we had the most perfect weather for over an hour.  Amazing.  

Congratulations Kaley, you were a gorgeous bride!  Thanks so much for choosing me to be a part of your wedding last weekend, I can't wait to share some photos from your special day!!

I was so excited to photograph this couple's wedding in early December.  Lisa and Trey were such a great couple to work with from the first contact and their wedding was gorgeous!  Both the wedding and reception were at Newport Country Club.  Lisa's mom actually made the bridal party bouquets and they all looked amazing!  Every detail at this wedding fit together so perfectly, it truly was beautiful.

Lisa and Trey, thanks so much for choosing me to document this amazing time in your lives.  And congratulations again, I know you guys have many years of happiness ahead!

a little billy idol

I'm headed to a wedding this afternoon and it's a nice day for a white wedding.  You know you want to sing that!  A gorgeous couple is saying "I Do" today and I'm so glad I get to be a part of it!!

billy & brianne | the reception

Billy and Brianne had a lovely wedding, followed by a fun reception at Eagle Pointe.  I loved all of the details these two incorporated, from the camo koozies to the photo collages!

billy & brianne | october 22, 2011

Billy and Brianne's wedding was a great ending to my October weekend of weddings.  I came straight from another wedding and met up with the wedding party in various Sunday School rooms.

For whatever reason, it really cracked me up that the boys got ready in the nursery.  I guess something about the coats laid out over baskets of toys and watching them try to sit in those tiny chairs at those tiny tables. :)

Billy and Brianne had a very sweet ceremony, starting with a precious group of kids singing "Goin' to the Chapel" as guests were seated.  SO CUTE!!

Stay tuned for their reception on the blog tomorrow!  These families know how to have a good time and the cake was gorgeous!

johnny & alisha | october 22, 2011

Johnny and Alisha were my second wedding of the weekend I refer to as "Wedding Palooza" or "That time I lost my mind and booked three weddings in one weekend." :)  Seriously though, their sweet ceremony was the perfect start to my Saturday morning.  Johnny and Alisha were married at Heritage Chapel and they had a really sweet service with the groom's father singing throughout the sand ceremony and an uncle acting as officiant.  Both of their moms were included in the sand ceremony and I think the inclusion of their family members really added a special touch to this day.

Thanks so much Johnny and Alisha for letting me be a part of such a special day for your family.  I know you guys have exciting times ahead and many years of happiness!

william & leann | the reception

Much like their wedding, William and LeAnn's reception was so much fun to be a part of!  There were so many gorgeous floral arrangements and I loved all of the delicate details on the cake table and bride and groom's table. 

Photographing a reception is always fun when the guests are having a good time.  I don't think there was ever a dull moment on the dance floor!  And I know the bride and groom's first dance is very special, and I promise there are lots of photos of the two of them, but there was just something about this father/daughter dance that pulled on my heartstrings.  They were really sweet!

And before I knew it, the night was coming to an end with a couple of sweet baby boys and lots of bubbles.

Congratulations William & LeAnn!  Thanks so much for choosing me to photograph your special day.  I'm hesitant to even say "Best Wishes" for the future because in spending the day with both of you, I know your future together will be filled with lots of happiness and friends and family by your side!
