one big happy family

I've had the privilege of photographing several members of this extended family before.  I love the family dynamic within this group.  I could say it a million times and mean it, I never tire of spending time with happy families.

And of course the big news here is that these two...

are about to be three!!  It's been announced so it's now safe to share. :)

I've been lucky enough to photograph this family before and I was so happy Stephanie contacted me again this fall!  They are such a sweet family and Stephanie is a fantastic hair stylist, she always looks so gorgeous!!

I love these two photos, sometimes it takes a minute for those two guys to warm up and smile.  But man, I love when they do!

a little billy idol

I'm headed to a wedding this afternoon and it's a nice day for a white wedding.  You know you want to sing that!  A gorgeous couple is saying "I Do" today and I'm so glad I get to be a part of it!!

the langston family

I've gotten to photograph this cute redhead a couple of times, so I was really excited for their family session!  I went to school with his momma and it's always fun to visit!  And Internet, after a summer long drought I can't tell you how many sessions I've had to reschedule lately due to rain.  Thankfully these guys were able to squeeze in a day early and we had great weather.  A little cloudy, but no rain!

Chris and Paula, it was so nice visiting with you guys and I'm so glad we were able to get together!!  

rain, rain, either way

The forecast for the day of this session was scattered thunderstorms and it was really gray when I was driving to our location.  About twenty minutes in we had to take cover in a garage and then we actually shot a little in the rain!  A first for me, standing in the rain while Darcy and Scott took turns holding an umbrella!  Somewhere in between those scattered showers (and in the midst of them) we managed to get so many photos that I love of this family.

Okay really, how can you not smile when you see his big baby grin?!  He is sooooo cute!!

Darcy, Scott, and Lincoln, it was so nice to meet the three of you.  I really enjoyed our session and I appreciate you guys helping to make the most of our rainy day!
