I apologize for taking so long to post this sweet girl's session. I sent her parents a peek over a week ago but the blog has been in the midst of a transformation and I wanted to wait until I could share them after things were complete. Yea for bigger pictures to look at!When Miss M came through the door I took one look at her, saw the cutest cheeks ever, and knew it was going to be a great session. Despite being asleep all snuggled in her carrier, once it was time to get started she was wide awake!I got a few pictures of her baby blues and a few with her momma and by then it was time to eat again. After a bottle, some love from both parents, and the help of Avery's Sleep Sheep - she was sleeping, well, like a baby! How lucky am I that I get to photograph such an adorable baby?! Seriously, she was so so cute!! I really appreciate how helpful and patient her parents were. Miss M made my job easy by being so darn precious and sleeping soundly. Thanks so much M & J for letting me photograph your sweet baby girl and congrats again on becoming parents! And I can't end this post without sharing one more picture. Oh, the cheeks!! Adorable overload.
The blog is undergoing a new design and will look totally different by tonight! Hopefully. My designer is currently napping on the sofa. But all sleeping aside, there are lots of new things coming soon for Amy Schilling Photography!
First thing Monday morning an adorable newborn baby girl will be all over this blog! Really! But today I have a couple more of my Avery Kate. I had a session this morning at a park we've never been to and was somehow lucky enough to convince Deran and Avery to tag along so we could enjoy some time together after I finished. Avery didn't so much appreciate being woken up at 7:30 but once there she had fun. When I met back up with them, Avery was in her stroller. I told D to get her out and let her walk around! He said he did get her out but Avery kept trying to get back in the stroller and told him to "Moose!" once she was settled in. How sad we'll be when she says moVe! Seriously though, I don't blame her. Sometimes it would be nice to be pushed around.I tried to get her to sit along the promenade so I could get a few pictures but of course that didn't even last long enough for me to settle in across from her.
Ah well, we live in the moment. And honestly, the candids are always my favorite.
So I was all set to blog a newborn session today, but in the midst of putting things away, my helpful assistant was too cute to ignore. I grabbed an available camera and took a picture before she rolled away. Man oh man do I love that girl! We stayed the night at my parents' house earlier this week and the bedroom was really dark when I put her to bed, I could make out shapes but that's about it. Avery got on her knees, grabbed my face and gave me the sweetest hug. It was just one of those moments I felt so full of love for her, my heart almost couldn't handle it.
So tomorrow I'll share pictures of another adorable baby (and believe me, she'll make you say "Awwwww!") but today I have to share one of mine.
