five on friday: links edition

1. I've been using this toothpaste since Tuesday and I really like it. Surprisingly foamy & fresh, but be warned...a little goes a long way!

2. I've been eating these since the end of September. I buy them at Wal-Mart and they're delicious. I would eat them by the bushel...if popcorn balls were sold in bushels.

3. Next Tuesday I'm taking pictures of this sweet girl & her family. I can't wait to see how she's grown & meet the family dog!

4. We recently picked up this toy for Avery at Target and I love it. It makes her laugh and it's fun for me. It makes about a dozen different sounds and there's one that I swear sounds like a sim talking.

5. I read this book last month for book club. I'm about to start this one. I just want to know what is up with "K" named heroines and fiery titles?!

it's only fair

I have to show off this cute boy since I posted a picture of his brother. Hard to believe how fast the time passes. He's grown a bit since his newborn session.

I'm so often the one taking the pictures and therefore rarely in a photo with Avery. Yesterday my sweet husband captured this one.


In other breaking news, twelve weeks later...the maternity pants have been put away. Well, except for the cotton leggings. They're incredibly comfortable!

a day out with the family

D was off today and we ran a few errands and ended with the pumpkin patch. I think one day she will thank me for all the pictures...but maybe not so much at present.

So Avery has some kind of eye issue. We picked up drops today to be dispensed in each eye every six hours for the next five to seven days. She did remarkably well for the first dose. Thanks Nana for coming to help this afternoon!

Please note that said issue in no way interferes with her cuteness. It may even add to it.

Given the bride's employer, I thought the floral arrangements would be gorgeous. I'm happy to say I was NOT disappointed!

double trouble

Man, am I glad I only had one baby! Yesterday my sister-in-law came over to take some pictures of Avery and I kept the twins occupied. We tried for a few pictures, but things quickly turned south. They were all over the place and were particularly fond of opening my dresser drawers and pulling clothing out.


We ended with a pizza picnic on the front porch. It was such a pretty day and they were so cute. No doubt they keep their momma busy all day, I don't know how you do it M!

In other news, I took a break from editing the wedding yesterday but I'll have more sneak peeks to post soon. I have five sessions scheduled over the next few weeks and I can't wait! I did baby yoga with Avery for the first time today and she really liked it. I swear she even giggled on the rock & roll moves! We have company coming this weekend and we're really excited. Our best friends from Louisiana are finally going to be meeting our sweet girl. The pugs are as crazy as ever, but that's another post for another day. I hope everyone is enjoying the fall!

So many photos to go through but I wanted to give the bride and the moms a little peek. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Congrats again to the happy bride & groom!

Tonight I will be photographing a wedding for this couple. And lucky for me, the happy boy below will be in attendance. I got to sneak in a couple of shots of him and his brother at last night's rehearsal. He's really grown since July!

I feel like that's the look she's giving me. Ah, if she only knew the photos in her future! This picture is really for my sister. I'm not sure she ever checks the blog, but I'll make sure she gets the photo.

She made Avery's "milky" shirt and before long she will outgrow it. Apparently, there is a certain aunt who thinks my baby has a perpetually milky face.

Whenever I say, "I'm tired." Deran always asks, "Tired of what?" I always reply with, "Of being awake!" I would say that my sweet girl is definitely tired of being awake this afternoon.
