And actually, it's closer to seven. It's hard to believe sweet A is already six months old! She was very sweet today and let me take lots of pictures. I'm glad this baby is in my family, I don't think I could get tired of her cute face!
I had the opportunity to photograph J on Sunday. She is best friends with M from the post below and is also a graduating senior. She was up for anything and gave it her all, even when I asked for crazy laughs and contemplative looks.

Fall is over you say?! These great whites would disagree. I bought these three pumpkins after Halloween at my local grocery store. They were in a basket marked $1.99 and I thought they would make a great addition to my Thanksgiving decorations. (Pay no attention to the unruly mess of weeds that has become my backyard)
I'm a little embarrassed to say that these pumpkins not only stayed stacked at my fireplace through Thanksgiving, but they kept Santa company and helped us ring in the new year. I finally decided it was time to put away the pumpkins this evening and found them to be very resilient! There wasn't a soft spot on a one of 'em! They must have come from the most sincere pumpkin patch to be so hearty.
It's hard to adequately describe our love. After a dozen years together we've been through a lot of ups and downs, we've grown up, we've lived, we've lost...we've just been Deran & Amy. And maybe, just maybe, I'm a tad more emotional than I normally would be--just maybe--but I'm so glad he's my best friend.
Until then, you'll have to make do with a couple of pictures of my dogs. They really are the best and haven't complained at all about the lack of activity in our house.
