the brown brothers

 

I've photographed this pair of brothers the last few years and I'm always so excited when I hear from their mom each fall.  For one reason or another, this session was postponed almost TWO months from our initial date in November. Though you'd never guess that these photos were actually taken in January - one of our crazy warm days and the trees still had leaves!

When we scheduled this session their momma, Hope's, mentioned that she'd caught them drinking out of the same cup with two straws and that it was really cute.  So it was decided a milkshake must be included!  I really love this set, she was right - two straws is indeed really cute!!

And I'm so excited to say that these two siblings will be a set of three next year...but next year I'll have to go with The Brown Brothers and SISTER!!!  So super happy for this friend and her sweet family!

Thanks so much Hope's, I can't wait to meet the newest Brown sibling!!

sixteen years of cuteness

Well, combined anyway.  Separately they're just eight.  Eight years each of adorable!  I met up with these sisters last Sunday afternoon for a belated birthday session.

I loved that sweet sister moment when they were swinging around before I made them stop and hug. :)

They brought along their Halloween costumes for a little candy corn fun at the end of the evening.  Super cute!!

Thanks so much Rachel for making the drive and letting me photograph your sweet girls.  I hope year eight is the best yet!

candy coated cuteness

These two sweet siblings happen to both have August birthdays and this year they'll be having a joint party. Planning one birthday party can be stressful and costly, much less two within a couple of weeks of each other. I think one big party is an excellent idea!!

They're having a candyland/sweets themed bash and we met up a couple of weeks ago to get pictures for their invitations. And man, are they cute invitations! I'm not just saying that because I designed them...well, maybe a little...but they are really cute. Of course, so are the subjects. :)

I love this picture of the two of them, he tries to do whatever his big sister does and his momm asked him to put his hands under his chin. So cute! And by that time his big sister was about done with photos.

Two cute kiddos and I can't wait to see their birthday cake, it's a treat not to be missed. I'll be sure to take pictures!

little town, lots of fun

On Saturday morning I met up with a very cute brother and sister duo. They may be too old to like being called cute, but they are! I was in town for a family reunion, staying with my Aunt Wanda. These two happen to be very close to my Aunt Wanda so it was only natural that we should finally meet!

It was really hot outside, even at 10:00 in the morning. Z & K were so good and barely complained. I loved his tough guy pose, K is a funny kid!

I'd say these two were pretty great at being silly.

But they were pretty great at being serious too.

I had so much fun getting to meet everyone, and little Bella too! Thanks for joining me on a hot Saturday morning, next time maybe Aunt Wanda can join in the fun. :)
